NYC Subway System had 1.5 Billion Passengers in 2007

NYC Transit officials stated that New York City subway usership hit its highest level in more than half a century. NYC Transit figures released recently show a total of more than 1.5 billion passengers thronged the trains last year. More than 5 million passengers use the New York subway system on an average weekday.
